  1. Successful administration of the 10th District Fishery Station in Zamboanga City from 1937 to 1950 inclusive.
  2. Government recognition of his studies on the determination of fishes caught by explosives which led to the conviction of around 90% illegal fisherman around Zamboanga before the last war.
  3. Paved the way to the Pearl Culture project before the last World War in Zamboanga.
  4. Made studies on the Turtle Fisheries of the Turtle Islands, particularly on the breeding habits for the promulgation of measures for their conservation.
  5. Taxonomic studies of the Holothurioidea Collection of the Allan Hancock Foundation, University of Southern California composed of over 10,000 specimens from both the Pacific and Atlantic Coasts of Central and North America which was found have several new species and varieties as contribution to science.
  6. Studies on the marine vegetation and fauna of the Hundred Islands and vicinities, in Lingayen Gulf, Luzon Island.
  7. Adviser, Rapporteur and member of the Philippine Delegation on minor Sea Resources, 4th Indo-Pacific Fisheries Council Meeting, Oct. 23 - Nov. 7, 1952, U.P. Dilliman, Quezon City.
  8. Contributed and supervised the Fisheries Exhibits in the 1953 International Fair depicting waterless marine aquaria and miscellaneous marine fauna.
  9. Built up the Fisheries Museum of the Philippine Institute of Fisheries Technology, College of Fisheries, U.P., Port Area, Manila, now transferred to Dilliman, Quezon City.
  10. Reading of the scientific paper entitled "THE ZOOGEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE INDO-PACIFIC LITTORAL HOLOTHURIOIDEA" during the Symposium on Marine Province of the Indo-Pacific Region sponsored by the UNESCO, 8th Pacific Science Congress, November 16-18, 1953, Dilliman, Quezon City.
  11. Took charge of the Fisheries Exhibits at the University of the Philippines in connection with the Eight Pacific Science Congress in November 1953.
  12. Delegate to the First National DANREA Conference, November 5-10, 1956.
  13. Contributing Editor, Science Quarterly Digest, 1959.
  14. Instrumental in the creation of the Southern Mindanao School of Fisheries in Zamboanga City.
  15. Participated in the Educational Exchange Program under the U.S. Public Law 584, the Fulbright during the Period 1948-1950, October 1, 1960.
